The Three Gorges
The Three Gorges are gorges full of legendary over the First River the Yangtze River in China. It starts from Baidi City in the west to the Nanjin Guan in the east, 192km in total.
The Qutang Gorge in the west from Baidi City to Daxi, about 8km, is the shortest but grandest.The Wu Gorge in the middle from Daning to the Guandu, 45km in total, is the longest and most complete and is famous for its pretty views. The twelve peaks of Wu Shan stand along the banks attracting people all over the world. Xiling Gorge in the east contains two parts. The west one is 15km and the east one is 20km and between them is the widest part of the Three Gorges San Dou Level Ground.
